Orvis Risner Elementary School

This Edmond Public Elementary School is right next door to us. We partner with them throughout the year to help with various back-to-school support for teachers and students, and financial support through your faithful giving to Faith Promise. They use our parking lot regularly for drop-offs and pick-ups.

In 2025, volunteers from New Covenant helped run the concession stand at the Orvis Risner Fall Festival. Also, our Women’s Ministry auctioned off centerpieces during their Women’s Christmas Brunch to purchase 30 food baskets for low income families during the holidays.

One program that New Covenant has started supporting is LifeWise Academy where Orvis Risner students are able to study the Bible on New Covenant’s campus during their lunch and recess hour one day a week with their parents’ approval.

Starting in fall of 2026, New Covenant will host kids from Orvis Risner elementary for weekly one-on-one reading practice with the Whiz Kids program.
