events

Tai Chi

You're invited to Tai Chi classes on Thursday mornings at 10am in the Fireside Room. The classes are sponsored by OWLS Ministry, but are open to all people and ages at no cost! This introductory class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. The instructor is Jana Finigan with the OSU extension. Please wear comfortable clothes and non-skid shoes!

pickleball

Pickleball? What is that you say?  It is a fun, fast-paced game that is gaining popularity around the world. It is easy to learn and can be played well by people of all ages in a relatively short period of time. New Cov now has 3 courts in the Activity Center reserved Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 pm (with the exceptions of a few conflicting activities). We have one court reserved for beginners and those wanting to learn more about how to play.

If you are interested in learning more about this new activity, contact Frank Andrews or call 405.373.3658 (home) or 713.206.6898 (cell) and get all your questions answered. You can also show up at any of our scheduled times and we can start the learning process. We have all the balls and paddles you need to get started.
