Mission 143

Mission 143 is a ministry based out of New Covenant Church that exists to prevent and reduce homelessness in the city of Edmond. They work to restore dignity and hope to clients by fulfilling urgent needs and compassionately guiding clients towards long term housing solutions. They are currently working closely with Edmond Public Schools and the City of Edmond in order to identify and serve the 300+ Edmond Public School students who are experiencing homelessness whether it be sleeping in hotels, cars, or in spaces occupied by friends or family members. As the population of Edmond grows, their goal is to stabilize and drastically reduce the number of families experiencing homelessness by providing wrap around case management including hotel room vouchers, assistance in applying for government benefits, referrals for medical and legal assistance and provision of tangible needs.
