Foster Family Christmas Party

Circle of Care is an Oklahoma United Methodist Ministry whose mission is “to provide Christian help, healing and hope to children and families in crisis to ensure a safe, healthy and spiritual future.” To accomplish this mission by providing children, youth and family services statewide through our four programs: Counseling Services, Foster Care, Pearl’s Hope Transitional Living program and Preparation for Adult Living program. For several years New Cov has hosted and sponsored the Foster Family Christmas Party for area foster kids. This has utilized a Christmas Giving Tree where tags listing specific gifts for the foster kids attending the party, along with Christmas Food Baskets for the families caring for the foster kids. The Activity Center is decorated for the party including games and activities for all to participate in, and of course, a special visit from Santa Claus. Planning starts in early October and the party requires 50-75 volunteers to work during the event itself.
