Men’s Bible Study
God has created men to have incredible strength. But today’s culture has hijacked masculinity, distorting strength into passivity and abuse. In this 5-part video Bible study series, pastor Joby Martin invites men to embrace God’s definition of masculinity and to step into His calling upon their lives to wield their strength on behalf of others. God has designed men to be protectors, providers, and defenders. When men act like men, everyone flourishes.
Please make plans to join us for this Bible Study on Thursday mornings, at 6:30 am in the Fireside Room. We'll have hot coffee and donuts ready for you!

New Member Sunday
If you have been visiting New Covenant Church, or been attending for awhile and are considering membership, we will be receiving new members on Sunday, January 25th, at both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services. If you are interested, please email Abbi Blair at ablair@newcov.tv or 405.562.3212.
Sunday Serve for NSO
Stay for a few minutes after worship on Sunday, January 25th to help us build Meal Kits for Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO)! NSO is located near downtown OKC, where a growing number of homeless and transient neighbors rely on nourishing, mobile meals. These meal kits allow NSO to provide high-protein meals or snacks to individuals in need. This is a meaningful, hands-on way to serve our community and support NSO’s mission of caring for some of Oklahoma City’s most vulnerable neighbors.
Guatemala Mission Interest Meeting
If you have any interest in being part of a mission trip to serve at the Casa Aleluya children’s home in Guatemala this summer, please join us for a short interest meeting on Sunday, January 25th at 12:15pm in the Hospitality Room.
Our trip is geared primarily toward relationships and experiences for the kids at Casa Aleluya. Spanish is helpful, but not necessary! From crafts and movie nights to VBS and bible lessons, we hope to give them special experiences as beloved children of God! Occasionally, there are "work" projects on campus, but we mostly plan fun activities to share God's love and care for them.
The trip will be in the second half of June 2026, depending on flight availability. Must be at least eighteen-years-old or travel with a parent/guardian.
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Mark your calendars for January 5, 2026, when we will begin our January women’s Bible study! We will meet at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room for an 8-week study of the book of Proverbs. The title of the study is The Way of Wisdom with video lessons from six teachers. The book of Proverbs describes wisdom as the greatest treasure of life, more valuable than anything else we could desire. As we consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, money management, and leadership influence, we will discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.
Books can be ordered from Lifeway.com or Amazon. Amazon has a spiral bound edition. Questions? www.newcov.tv/women.

You are invited to join the Monday Morning Moms, a small group Bible study, usually between 10-15 ladies at different ages and stages of life, who all happen to be moms. Each week, we spend our time focused on study, fellowship, friendship, and prayer. Our study begins on Monday, January 12, so join us!

Confirmation Parent Retreat
Confirmation is designed to help students move from inherited faith to owned faith. It is a seasonal, intentional, and unique program where students explore who Jesus is, what we believe, and how faith and church express itself in their everyday lives. Our goal is not just information, but formation; to create space for students to experience God’s goodness, develop personal spiritual habits, and take meaningful next steps in following Jesus.
Confirmation will take place on Sundays from 12:15–2:00 pm following church in the Youth Room in the Commons, with lunch provided each week. The process includes weekly sessions, at-home reflections, a retreat, and a Confirmation Sunday celebration. Parents play a vital role in this journey, and Confirmation is designed to be a partnership between church and family as students grow in their relationship with Jesus.
If you know a student who is interested or you would like to volunteer as an adult leader, please reach out to Jonah or Cody. Please click the link below for more information and/or to sign up.
Parent Meeting:
Parents of 8th-12th grade students, we’re launching Confirmation this spring, and we want to invite you to a parent meeting on Sunday, February 1, right after church, in the Youth Room in the Commons. This meeting is for parents of students who are interested in or planning to participate in Confirmation. We’ll clearly walk through what Confirmation is, why we’re doing it, expectations for students and families, key dates, and how we want to partner with you in your student’s faith journey. This meeting is an important first step in the Confirmation process.
Starting Point
Are you new to New Covenant? Maybe you’ve been coming for a while, but only attend worship. Maybe you are in a group, but don’t feel like you understand much about this New Covenant family yet.
Starting Point is for you! We will spend four Sundays together from 9:45-10:40am in Room 103 learning about who we are and focus on each step of our Discipleship Pathway! On the fourth Sunday we will have breakfast and fellowship together. We will begin this class on Sunday, February 1, and meet through February 22. For more details contact Abbi Blair at ablair@newcov.tv or 405-562-3212.
Chili Cook Off
Our New Cov favorite, the annual Chili Cook-Off, is coming up on Sunday, February 1, starting at 5:00 pm. It's always a great event in which we come together as a church family and have a friendly competition to determine the “Best Chili Makers” in our church.
This year we are raising funds for Mission 143, a ministry based out of New Covenant that exists to serve those suffering from homelessness and those at risk for becoming unhoused.
If you aren't competing, make sure to bring some money to vote on your favorite chili. Also, people with last names that begin with A-L bring desserts and M-Z bring fixin's (Fixins=crackers, cheese, Fritos, cornbread, onions, etc.) .
You can sign up to bring chili as an individual or sign up with your family group or some friends to compete as a group!
