Tai Chi
You're invited to Tai Chi classes on Thursday mornings at 10am in the Activity Center starting April 4th. OWLS Movie Night - Mamma Mia!
Join other seniors at New Cov for an OWLS Movie night in the Fireside Room on Friday, May 10th! The featured movie will be Mamma Mia! Bring your own meal and drink. We will provide popcorn. Dinner time is 5:30pm and the movie will start at 6pm.
Serve Saturday: Stamp Out Hunger
Sign up to volunteer at our May Serve Saturday where we will help Stamp Out Hunger! We will be sorting food collections for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma at a local post office, Edmond Centennial, 801 W. 33rd, Edmond, OK 73013.
There will be two shifts: we need ten volunteers from 11:30am-3:30pm, and six volunteers from 2:30-6pm. *Note: the end time is subject to change to when the last letter carrier returns. Volunteers must be at least eight years old.
Volunteers must sign up to serve by Wednesday, April 24th.
Mother’s Day at New Cov
New Cov loves moms! Make plans to celebrate Mother’s Day with us on Sunday, May 12th. We will have special worship experiences with Guest Preacher Stephanie Greenwald, and a photo opportunity to take pictures with your friends and family! Also, for all the ladies, we will have The Donut-Man Food Truck out on the north parking lot from 9:30 am-12 Noon! Join us for worship at 8:30am & 11:00am and Sunday School at 9:45am!

Dayspring High School Camp
Dayspring is a high school (incoming 9th-graduated 12th) camp for churches in Oklahoma to bring their Student Ministries to and see radical transformations in them through worship, small groups, and time spent in the presence of God. Scholarships are limited, but available, so please contact jgrisham@newcov.tv about setting up a payment plan or getting a scholarship!

Shiloh Camp Dinner
Help serve the families of the kids who will attend Shiloh Camp the week of June 17th-21st! We will prepare and serve a dinner on Friday, June 21st for 300 people! We will need food donations and volunteers to serve that evening–look for ways to sign up to help closer to the event!

NC Students Mission Trip 2024
Hey students! This summer, we have the incredible opportunity to journey to St. Louis and immerse ourselves in meaningful mission work! Partnering with local organizations, our group work may include preparing meals, beautifying houses, engaging in recreational activities with local children, sorting clothes, and spending time with community residents, including the elderly. Through these experiences, our goal is to not only serve others but also to foster personal growth, develop leadership skills, deepen our compassion and empathy, and broaden our understanding of the mission and character of Jesus Christ.

New Room Conference
New Covenant is so excited to take a group to New Room Conference 2024! New Room Conference is a gathering for Christians and leaders to join together to sow for a great awakening! The conference will be September 18th-20th at Woodlands Methodist Church in Texas. New Covenant’s group will ride together to the Woodlands and reserve a group of rooms at a nearby hotel. You are invited to join us!

Senior Sunday
We love celebrating our High School Seniors during this time of the year! This is a huge milestone in their lives and in the families represented, so we want to highlight and celebrate them. If you have a high school senior, we would love to invite them to be a part of Senior Sunday on May 5. We will have a moment in the service to present gifts to each senior, pray as a congregation over them, and celebrate together this moment of transition to whatever is in store next!

Girls’ Night Out at Chicken N Pickle
All women are invited to join us at Chicken n Pickle. Do you have to know how to play? No.
Do you have to play? No. Come simply to connect with other women! You can eat, talk, learn to play or watch others, or simply enjoy the lovely venue and weather. We will have a reserved grassy area by the indoor courts. If you have pickle ball rackets, bring them, please. We'll have extras to share and some are available to rent. The courts are INSIDE so we will be there rain or shine!

Family Meeting & Prayer Gathering
On Sunday, April 28th, we are having a New Covenant Family Meeting at 5:00pm in the Worship Center. Pastor Jay will be giving updates on where we are as New Covenant Church with an eye on what is ahead! Among other things, we will discuss the Worship Center renovations that are beginning on April 29th and our summer worship service locations while the project is underway starting on Sunday May 5th. Part of our time together will be spent in prayer over the space.We hope you’ll join us for this exciting meeting and prayer gathering!

Baptism Sunday
On Sunday, April 14, we are having another Baptism Sunday! During our services we will be baptizing anyone who has not been baptized, but is ready to make the public profession, OR any child who has not been baptized. Baptism is a huge part of who we are. We want to make sure that we communicate the power of the sacrament in a way that glorifies God and unites the body. We can’t wait for our spring 2024 Baptism Sunday to get here!

Serve Saturday: Exodus House
Our next Serve Saturday will be held on April 13th at the Exodus House. We'll meet at 433 NE 25th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103 from 9am-12pm. We will be planting flowers and helping to unload a pod that’s been used to house all the furnishings from the Community Room which has been renovated due to a sewage flood last September. Bring your gloves, bottled water, and any garden tools you may have. The gardening tasks will be an easy serve opportunity for all abilities and ages! Women’s Spring Luncheon
Ladies, invite your friends and family to our annual Spring Luncheon on April 6th at 11:30 in the Activity Center. Enjoy the lovely variety of decorated tables. Delight in a fun catered lunch and be inspired by our guest speaker Shelley Johnson.
Shelley was on staff at New Covenant for 16 years before she and her husband Larry re-planted themselves in their home state of Texas in 2020. Shelley is a full-time writer who publishes weekly on her website about all that she is learning as a follower of Jesus. She also serves as the Community Engagement Manager on the Writing Team at The Devoted Collective, which creates and publishes studies that take readers through a book of the Bible.

Good Friday Worship
Join us on Friday, March 29th as we remember the events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion as Associate Pastor Cali Eck leads us through a Good Friday traditional Service of Darkness at 6:30pm in the Chapel.
Good Friday Stations of the Cross
Reflect on the relevance of the cross in our daily lives and pray through the journey of our Savior by taking part in an interactive, come-and-go, Stations of the Cross available from; 8:00am-5:00pm in the Worship Center.
Living Last Supper
Join us for this year’s Holy Thursday Living Last Supper as we gather in remembrance of Christ’s final meal and the new covenant. The Living Last Supper will take place on Thursday, March 28th at 6:30pm in the Chapel.
MOMS Group
The MOMS group is for moms of all ages and seasons to gather together for friendship, support, coffee, and to study God’s Word. They are beginning a new study on Monday, January 22nd, at 10:00am in the Hospitality Room. This winter they will study Matchless by Angie Smith
Join Seamless author Angie Smith in this 8-session search for truth as she unfolds the story of our matchless Savior—His mission, miracles, and message. Through her signature wit and accessible style, Angie unpacks Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand, regardless of how long you’ve been studying the Bible (a great option for new believers!). This study will deepen your understanding of Jesus through biblical, historical, and cultural insight and help you see Him less as an iconic figure and more as an intimate friend.
Each week we fellowship together, study and learn together, encourage, support, and pray for each other, so whether you have been a part of this group before or have never attended, please join us! It's a great time to meet and get to know other women! This study will bless and encourage you!
Palm Sunday Worship
Join us on March 24th as we begin Holy Week with a Palm Sunday celebration during our Worship services at 8:30 and 11:00am, both online and on campus.
That morning, our NC Kids will have a fun celebration that includes singing and waving palm branches in our 11am services and a petting zoo! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
OWLS Art Class

NC Students Ski Trip
We are excited to be able to share that over Spring Break 2024 (March 15th – March 20th) we are planning a Ski Trip for our students! We believe that through shared experience community is created, fostered, and strengthened. This trip provides a great opportunity for students to connect and have fun with each other as we look to build community in a healthy, Jesus-centered environment.
