Legacy Fellowship Luncheon

Stewardship for 2027

We are in that season of our life together where we are inviting you to pray about your financial commitment to our life and ministry at New Covenant for 2027.
As we continue our series on The Better Way through 1 Corinthians we are highlighting the passage from Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians: “…What is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful” (4:2). Our whole life’s goal, summed up in one phrase: Be Found Faithful. As you prayerfully discern what God might be leading you to pledge for 2027, our prayer is that faithfulness to God will guide your discernment.
On Sunday, October 25, you will be given the opportunity to make your pledge for 2027. You can also make your pledge online at any time by following the button below.
Pastor Appreciation Month
October 2026
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Show your love to Pastor Jay by writing cards and dropping them in the available basket at the Connection Point. We will collect cards the next three Sundays. You can also mail letters to the church: 2700 S Boulevard, Edmond, OK 73013. Thanks for loving our pastor so well!
Serve Opportunity at the Regional Food Bank
October 27
On Tuesday, October 27th, we will be serving at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma starting at 1:30 pm. We will meet at New Covenant’s south parking lot to carpool, leaving at 12:45 pm to the Regional Food Bank (3355 S Purdue Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 83179).
Please let Barbara Perry know by October 20th if you can help serve by emailing yrrep3@cox.net as she must register each person at RFB, seven days prior to the volunteering date. Let Barbara know if you are willing to drive others in your car.
This is also a great way to serve one weekday afternoon per month! Upcoming dates to serve will be on the fourth Tuesday each month.

NC Students Fall Retreat
November 6-8
All 6th-12th graders are encouraged to join us for an incredible weekend November 6th-8th at Camp Oakridge for the NC Students Fall Retreat 2026.
Calling is an invitation for every student to discover that Jesus calls them by name, not simply to believe in Him, but to follow Him with their whole life. Throughout the weekend, we will explore what it means to hear His voice, surrender our plans, and step courageously into the purpose He gives us. Students will leave challenged to answer His call by knowing Jesus deeply and making Him known wherever they go.
Grades: 6th - 12th

Location: Camp Oakridge

OWLS Coffee Talk
November 13
Come join us for good coffee and great conversation on Friday, November 13. This event is hosted by our OWLS ministry, but open to all! We will have coffee and donuts and meet in the NC Café at 9:30 am!
November’s guest speaker is New Cov’s very own Trait Thompson, the Executive Director at Oklahoma Historical Society. He will be sharing about the birth of Route 66!
Project 66 Serve Day
November 13
We have a serve day scheduled for Friday, November 13, at Project 66. We will begin the project at 11:00 am and we will be working on Thanksgiving Dinner food boxes. We need 12 people to help with this project, so email Steve West if you can help at stevewest2@cox.net.
Thanksgiving Potluck & Bingo
November 15
Join us for a New Cov Family Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 15, from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Activity Center! This night will be filled with great food, bingo, prizes, and lots of fun with new and old friends.
New Cov will provide the turkey and ham, and extra sides of mashed potatoes and dressing. We will be having Potluck sides and desserts. Here is what you can bring:

*If you are bringing a side, please double your recipe so there will be enough to go around! If you are bringing a dessert, please consider pre-slicing any cakes, pies, or other larger baked items!
