Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study
September 14th
Ladies, mark your calendars for the start of our Fall Bible study beginning September 14 - October 26 (7 weeks). We meet at 9:30 am on Monday mornings in the Fireside Room.
You will need to purchase the study book from your favorite Christian book store or Amazon. He’s Where The Joy Is, Getting to Know the Captivating God of the Trinity, by Tara-Leigh Cobble, will give us a deeper understanding of the Trinity. This is a concept that is very hard to grasp with our finite minds. It’s true that some things are beyond our complete knowledge, but they aren’t beyond our partial knowledge. So, Tarah Leigh states, “we’ll make it our aim to know the highest percentage of what our minds can possibly grasp. After all, knowing Him is the path to joy, and I want as much joy as possible.”
What a welcoming group of friends you will find as a bonus. So, if you have never done a Bible Study, fear not! Everyone is learning together. For more information, contact Jamie Crooch at (405) 834-6150.
D-Group Interest Meetings
September 20
Time + Trust = Transformation.
At New Covenant we encourage everyone to take an even deeper step in their faith by starting a D-Group AKA; a Discipleship Group. This is a group of three to five men or women who meet weekly to engage in transformational questions and pray for one another.
If you’d like to learn more about what a D-group is, how to get one started or have any other questions then I want to invite you to a D-group interest meeting! We will have two times available on Sunday, September 20th. You can join us at 10:00 am OR 12:15 pm in Room 202. This meeting will run 15 minutes at the most and depending on the questions, but it will be quick! Enough time to get back to your Sunday School class or to lunch.
Questions: Contact Amber Hocker at 405-562-3203 or ahocker@newcov.tv.
Wesley Heritage Tour Interest Meeting
September 23
You’re invited to be part of NC’s Wesley Heritage Tour that will be led by Pastor Jay from July 7 to 15, 2027. We will travel across England, from the Wesley Family home in Epworth to the birthplace of the Methodist movement at Oxford, from the chapel at New Room to the streets of London, where both John and Charles Wesley experienced the warming of the hearts. We will visit and experience all the historic sites of the tradition and church stream we are part of.
If you are interested in learning more about the trip, there will be an interest meeting on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:45 pm in the Fireside Room. You can bring in your Midweek Dinner plate and feel free to eat during the meeting! If you can't join us for that one, let us know and we will get the information to you!

New Member & Baptism Sunday
September 27
On Sunday, September 27th we will be receiving new members and have an opportunity for anyone who wants to be baptized in both our 8:30 and 11:00am services.
During our services we will be baptizing anyone who has not been baptized but is ready to make the public profession, and any child who has not been baptized. Baptism is a huge part of who we are. We want to make sure that we communicate the power of the sacrament in a way that glorifies God and unites the body!
If you have been visiting New Covenant Church, or been attending for a while and are considering membership, or if you or your child have not been baptized but would like to be baptized, let us know; please contact Abbi Blair ablair@newcov.tv or by calling 405.562.3212 today!
Serve at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
September 29
On Tuesday, September 29, we will be serving at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma starting at 1:30 pm. We will meet at New Covenant’s south parking lot to carpool, leaving at 12:45 pm to the Regional Food Bank (3355 S Purdue Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 83179).
Please let Barbara Perry know by September 21 if you can help serve by emailing yrrep3@cox.net as she must register each person at RFB, seven days prior to the volunteering date. Let Barbara know if you are willing to drive others in your car.
This is also a great way to serve one weekday afternoon per month! Upcoming dates to serve will be on the fourth Tuesday each month.
We hope you will consider joining this group, to help a great cause…fighting hunger in Oklahoma!
