Women’s Bible Study

January 5

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Asking God’s blessings on each of you and your families in the coming year.

In four very busy weeks we will begin our January women’s Bible study.  Mark your calendars for January 5, 2026.  We will meet at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room for an 8-week study of the book of Proverbs.  The title of the study is The Way of Wisdom with video lessons from six teachers. The book of Proverbs describes wisdom as the greatest treasure of life, more valuable than anything else we could desire. As we consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, money management, and leadership influence, we will discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.

Books can be ordered from Lifeway.com or Amazon.  Amazon has a spiral bound edition.

Midweek Spring Semester

January 14

This spring join us for Midweek, Wednesday night dinners and classes and activities for all ages starting January 14! Dinner will begin being served at 5:30 pm. At 6:30 pm, different Midweek activities for Adults, Students, and Kids will begin around campus

Classes Offered:

4:30 pm:

  • Nicene Creed: Pastor Jay and guest teacher Kyler Kanady will lead an 8-week study of the Nicene Creed—one of the central confessions of the historic Church. Together, we’ll explore what the Creed teaches about the identity and work of the one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

6:30 pm:

  • The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work: Pastor Jay will lead this class through key concepts from Dr. John Gottman’s bestselling book that offers practical, proven insight into everyday challenges couples face—and tools that help marriages not just survive, but flourish.

  • Estate Planning 101: Are you prepared for the future? This 5-week class will cover essential estate planning topics to help you protect your loved ones and steward your legacy wisely. Whether you’re just getting started or need a refresher, this class offers practical guidance for every stage of life.

  • Celebration of Discipline: Suzan Benson will lead this class as a natural next step following our fall Renovation of the Heart journey. Together, we asked the question, Who am I becoming? This class continues that invitation by helping participants learn and practice spiritual disciplines that shape a Christ-centered life.

  • Revelation Bible Study: BEGINS JAN 28
This study is a continuation of last fall’s Revelation Bible Study and will pick up where we left off. If you’ve been part of the journey—or want to jump in as we continue exploring this powerful book—you’re invited to join us.

Other adult options include the Healing Hearts Grief Group at 4:30 pm and options at 6:30pm including a Family Group called the Bible Explorers, His Hands Group that meets for prayer, the NC Choir, and meeting with your D-Group.

NC Students will meet weekly in the NC Commons and NC Kids will have Ultimate Midweek Adventure in the Kids Building at 6:30 pm.

Bible Blast

January 14

Families participate through short at-home readings, while weekly gatherings provide space for discussion, activities, and encouragement. Our desire is for every child to not only know the Bible, but truly love it and live it out.
Bible Blast includes:
• Engaging lessons and activities
• Scripture memory and challenges
• Simple weekly readings for home
• A supportive community of leaders and friends

Spring Semester Bible Blast begins on Wednesday, January 14, and runs through March 12. We will gather together on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm every week that we meet in person.
