Monday Mornings

Mom's Study             10 AM | Hospitality Room

Starting Sept. 10

The Monday Morning Mom’s Study will be doing a study called Church of the Small Things: Making a Difference Right Where You Are. Writer and popular blogger, Melanie Shankle invites women to view daily tasks as the holy and precious callings they are. Through her hilarious reflections on being a mom, wife, and writer, Melanie helps women embrace a meaningful life, finding the beauty and the laughter that lie right beneath the surface of every ordinary, incredible day. Debi Collett leads this group of moms in the Hospitality Room at 10 AM. Register below for the study and childcare. Books are available for purchase the day of the study.

9:30 AM | Room 108

This ongoing group of faithful women meets every week to pray over the week’s prayer requests and to study together. Vickie Brinlee and Jane Ellen Weaver lead.

Connect Group

6:30 PM | Room 207

This lively group of women read and discuss a book each semester that equips them for life and motherhood.  Their conversations are lively and relationships are strong. They support and encourage one another in and out of the classroom setting. This semester they’ll read Max Lucado’s book, Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World. Based on Philippians 4:6-7, which is said to be the most underlined passage in the Bible, this book sets out to give believers who face lots of anxiety-provoking situations with what they need so they don’t have to be dominated by anxiety!  Books are available for purchase at the first class, which is September 5th.

Women walking with jesus

6:30 PM | Room 105

The Women Walking With Jesus Group will dive into a study of the Gospel of Mark using a Seedbed study by Brad Johnson. This study will go through Mark’s narration of the events leading-up to and immediately following the life of Jesus. Under the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Mark has artfully created reading cues that will direct the study to a depth of understanding many may not have reached. And although understanding is an important goal, it is not the ultimate one. Anyone who picks up and reads the Gospel of Mark is bound to experience something greater, something richer, and something infinitely more valuable: transformation.

9:30 AM | Room 107

Sandy Henson leads this group each week. This fall they will be doing The Touch of the Master’s Hand - studies on Jesus by Max Lucado. God loves us just the way we are, but He refuses to leave us that way. This study will help you feel Him as He touches your heart, alters your outlook and transforms you inside and out. He wants you to be just like Jesus.  Sandy,
