Prayer Blanket Sewing Day

The New Covenant Prayer Blanket Ministry is a caring ministry that makes and distributes blankets to the sick, grieving, and needy.  Once a blanket is made, a prayer patch is sew on, and a pastor blesses it. Then church members are invited to pick-up blankets to give to anyone in need at any time (come by the church office for help finding them).

As you can imagine, we go through hundreds of blankets every year, so we could use your help to make more!  Saturday, March 9th we will be having a Sew Day in Room 207 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, come and go as you’re able.

Blankets can be sewn, quilted, knitted, or crocheted, so if you have any materials, resources, skill, or a desire to help, come be part of Sew Day! Bring any supplies you have, and know that even if you can’t sew, we can put you to work with scissors!  If you’d like to make blankets and cannot attend Sew Day, let us know. Questions?
