The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is New Covenant’s annual Christmas outreach project. We support foster families connected with the Circle of Care’s Child SHARE program. While this ministry of the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference supports these families throughout the year, New Covenant is blessed with the chance to shower them with gifts, food and a party at Christmas,
Volunteers are needed for many aspects of this tremendous project.

If you’re gifted with helping, this is the perfect chance for you to put your God-given talents to work! Options include:

•Gift Tag Party, November 12th, 9:00 am in Room 102/03
•Assist at the Giving Trees, November 15th-December 6th in Decker Hall and the NC Cafe
•Gift Wrapping Party, December 10th, 6:30 pm in the Choir Room
•ChildShare Party Set-up. December 11th, 5:00 pm in the Activity Center
•ChildShare Christmas Party, December 12th, 1:00-3:00 pm in the Activity Center

There are numerous opportunities for small groups and/or Sunday School classes, as well. Everything from decorating the Activity Center to providing food baskets to donating cookies.

Do you have Christmas lights you no longer need or use and are willing to donate? We would love to take these off your hands to use for our decorating! Please bring these by the church office when you have a chance. You can also bring them to one of the Giving Trees on or after November 15th.
