In our busy, noisy lives, it's hard to be still and connect to God. Our prayer lives are often rushed and distracted. Using prayer beads can enhance our prayer lives by helping us be still, focus our prayers, and listen to God. Please join us July 19, 6:30 pm in the Fireside room for a fun evening of making prayer beads used to strengthen our prayer habits. Kari Boyce will be our guest instructor and facilitator.
As you do your spring cleaning, set aside any beads you would like to donate to this project. We will start collecting beads in jars in Decker Hall and the Café. Beads can be plastic, resin, glass, ceramic, wood, stone, or semi-precious stones. Large beads (like quarter inch) are preferred.
Refreshments will be served.
