Walk to Emmaus
The Walk to Emmaus
The Walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. It is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way as God’s grace and love is revealed to you through other believers.
On the Emmaus weekend, essentials of God’s grace are taught through fifteen talks, given by clergy and regular, ordinary people. Some talks can be quite humorous while others are very serious, but they each tell us something about God and how He is working in our lives.
The purpose of Emmaus is to develop leaders for the local church. It will inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities and places of work. It lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
Emmaus is a great way to continue your journey with God.
