Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner

The Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner is November 26th at the George Nigh Center on the University of Central Oklahoma campus.

New Covenant is always such a blessing in helping this community mission outreach!  Thank you.  We are still in need of a few food items: #10 cans of corn (those are the extra- large cans), cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes (lots!), eggs, Pepperidge Farm Stuffing (largest packages), onions, carrots, celery, sour cream, butter, #10 cans of fruit cocktail, money donations (please make check out to ECTD)), and a few more desserts.  If you are willing to provide any of these food items, please sign up at the display in Decker Hall, the Café, or e-mail JoAnn at jsm100@cox.net.  Everything MUST be brought to the church (Decker Hall or the Café) by noon on Sunday, Nov. 22nd.

This year New Covenant is in charge of volunteers.  JoAnn needs help in the volunteer room at UCO on Thanksgiving Day!  If you are willing to help out for 1, 2, 3 hours on Thanksgiving Day, please contact JoAnn (jsm100@cox.net) or complete a volunteer form on one of the display tables in Decker Hall or the Café. All volunteers go to the volunteer room (1st floor) before heading upstairs to help serve, bus, or clean-up for the dinner.

Not available on Thanksgiving Day?  How about helping Ricky Conrady cook turkeys on Monday, Nov. 23rd in our own kitchen?? He will need help carving turkeys.  Please bring your carving utensils. There are sheets on both display tables for you to sign up for this opportunity. Or, again just contact JoAnn!

New Covenant is such a blessing…..everyone pulls together to make sure that the Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a success.  This dinner is free to anyone that would like to join others in fellowship from 11:00 – 3:00 On Thursday, Nov. 26th.

Would you like dinner but you are not able to get out?  Just call the Home Delivery line: 341-3602 ext. 130 or go to edmondthanksgivingdinner@gmail.com.
